Last night my Uncle Ben and his family came down to our house after church. I was sittin on the couch playing with my Nintendo and Kalem asked if he could try, so i gave it to him. I thought it was funny, him sitting there playing a pink Nintendo:) and he could NOT figure out how to play the game. haha

Doug And Sarah's Baby

This afternoon dad went to see the Doug and Sarah and baby Cayden. Cayden was born early this morning and when we got to the church Jamison made sure that we all knew :) We have a pic of Sarah and the baby but I didn't think that Sarah would appreciate me very much if I put it on.

See that little patch of white on the wall? It's a reflection but it looks like we missed a spot when we painted the walls :)Ugh!!! DADS!!!

We are getting there!!! We have the walls painted and still need to do the doors and touch up some of the floor trim, hang receptical covers and DECORATE!! Will post pictures of the kitchen when it gets finished. I'm really thrilled with the way the colors all blended! There is a close up of how the whitewashed & pink decorations look with the chocolate background. As you can see by one of the pictures we will be taking these colors into the next room (dining room) so that will be our next project. And take note of the dark choclate above the cabinets. I LOVE IT!!

Alyssa Bored

Let me just say that we can always tell when Alyssa is looking at funny pictures or watching the funny video clips. For example: the girls and I were at the Susquehanna University on Wednesday for their violin lessons. Alyssa was waiting her turn and started looking through video clips on line. While sitting there -many students would walk by. Wellllllllllllllllll a guy walked by and at the very same moment Alyssa started giggling like crazy, she covered her mouth and started shaking!! The college guy looked back at her a few times, seeing if she was laughing at him. If you haven't heard/seen Alyssa get the case of the giggles your missing something.

Funny Pics

I absolutely love homeschooling but, sometimes I get a little bored. That's when the REALLY weird things happen, well i got bored, so i searched funny pics on the Internet. I would have been so embarrassed if someone would have walked into that room and saw me laughing like that!!! It was horrible, i couldn't stop!!! Honest, I tried! Anyway i had to put some of these up:)

Mom said i had to put this one on the blog, i didn't think it was funny but, hey, everyone is different. These watermelon-grower-people put the watermelons in closed boxes when they were small and this is how they turned out.

I got this sign for dad for Father's Day last year. We are repainting our kitchen and mom has taken everything off of the walls and set it in the dinning room. When I saw the sign sitting there i just had to put a pic on the blog. So far we have filled all of the nicks and dents in the walls with mud and have sanded the walls, ceiling and trim. Tonight dad painted the ceiling. It was amazing how different the whites were :)
Dad painted a little section so mom would see what it would look like.She is doing pink, dark brown and milk chocolate brown in the kitchen.

Bahamas Trip

Last summer the youth missions trip was to the Bahamas. It wasnt all fun, but here are some pics of the fun times we had.

Some of us got to go to the Atlantis Hotel. WOW!!! O, and we are standing in front of one of the tanks inside of the hotel. :)

Sarah's Baby Shower

Another game. We had to blow up balloons, and have big bellies:) Then we had to pop the balloons.

Mary and Sarah were competing to see who could drink their bottle the fastest. Mary would have won but Sarah cheated.
