Yes, I know, we haven't posted in a VERY long time!! And we are sorry for neglecting our blog family. Things have been busy here, with schooling, work and everyday life.
I am in the process of getting my web based scrapbooking business up and running. Things started arriving last week, and I need to get busy putting things together. I also have someone working on my web page...so when things get up and running, I will be sure to let you know you can go peek.
Getting excited and nervous at the same time!! Nervous, that I will fail....excited because it is something that I LOVE to do. I think I'll be happy if I can break even (since I will have benefited with getting some new stuff in the process.) So to all of you....keep praying that the Lord directs us in all of our decisions and bless our venture.

Shalene played "Happy Birthday" to her while she opened her presents as well as this morning when we woke her up. Made her potatoe & eggs with cheese for breakfast (thats what she wanted) then I had to go to work so Shalene made chicken enchilladas and corn cake for supper (Alyssa's all time fav. meal) and then NO cake but dirt dessert.

So, how many of you out there have been trying to be frugal??? Cutting your bills down and saving on expenses? Or just trying to stretch your money!!! I am, and I got a giggle out of this cartoon!! Enjoy (and yes, my sweeper really does have some problems)

Alyssa made chocolate chip cookies this evening......she decided to make ONE large cookie for herself and threatened her dad if he stole it. Here she is enjoying the cookie!! A little big don't you think? I didn't think she could eat the whole thing -- but hey, life is full of suprises!
Does anyone know what is coming up on Saturday??? I thought I'd remind those of you who may be a bit forgetful!!!
