My Dream
Many of you know that at the end of 2008 I mentioned that I was dreaming of doing an online scrapbook store where I would sell project kits. Well my dream is getting closer!!
Above is my logo design and I have a wonderful lady from Treasured Pages setting things up for me. (she is doing the web page as well as the logo that you see above)I now have a good many boxes of items cluttering my basement and I've been spending most of my time trying to get some class creations designed and ready to sale. I've also been working at getting some wonderful ladies to help me create items which will allow a variety of styles to be available in the store.
I hope to have all of this up and running within the next month. It requires a lot of little odds and ends but the Lord has blessed us and He is helping. I don't plan to sell much merchandise....just mainly sell kits that have photos and directions along with all of the products to create mini scrapbook albums and projects. Takes the thinking out of it while the scrapper can copy the directions and have an album ready for photos. However, I do plan to have some merchandise - cardstock and adhesives, tools. But not tons. Hope you all can visit me when we get up and running.

What a Thought!
Picture can be found here
A friend of mine opened his wife's underwear drawer and picked up a silk paper wrapped package:
'This, - he said - isn't any ordinary package.'He unwrapped the box and stared at both the silk paper and the box.'
She got this the first time we went to New York , 8 or 9 years ago.
She has never put it on, was saving it for a special occasion.
Well, I guess this is it.He got near the bed and placed the gift box next to the other clothing he was taking to the funeral house, his wife had just died.
He turned to me and said:
'Never save something for a special occasion.Every day in your life is a special occasion'.
I still think those words changed my life..
Now I read more and clean less.
I sit on the porch without worrying about anything.
I spend more time with my family, and less at work.I understood that life should be a source of experience to be lived up to, not survived through.
I no longer keep anything.I use crystal glasses every day...
I'll wear new clothes to go to the supermarket, if I feel like it.
I don't save my special perfume for special occasions; I use it whenever I want to.
The words 'Someday...' and ' One Day...' are fading away from my dictionary.
If it's worth seeing, listening or doing, I want to see, listen or do it now...
I don't know what my friend's wife would have done if she knew she wouldn't be there the next morning, this nobody can tell.
I think she might have called her relatives and closest friends.
She might call old friends to make peace over past quarrels.
I'd like to think she would go out for Chinese, her favorite food.
It's these small things that I would regret not doing, if I knew my time had come.
Each day, each hour, each minute, is special.Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.
One of these days’, remember that 'One day' is far away... or might never come...

Clayton & Alyssa -- Celebration
Clayton knew we were having a party for him -- BUT, Alyssa didn't know that we were going to suprise her at the same time. She had just gone out to feed the dogs when some of her friends arrived, they hid in the room and we snuck her cake out -- here she is when she realizes that the party is for her too.
We had right around 40 people show up -- Thanks to all who helped Alyssa and Clayton celebrate their birthdays.
Gwen did an awesome job on the cakes!!! The kids loved em

Happy Birthday Clayton!!!
Clayton turned 9 today!!! WOW, my baby is 9 years old. I've been calling him Clayton long legger!! SO hard to believe that times goes so fast. Now, grant it, I"m not getting any older!! We plan to have a party on Friday evening with friends and family. However, Clayton felt that he should be able to open his gifts from us today. Daddy brought him a hammer home today! Clayton has his own tool box and pouch and loves to go to work with Steve whenever he can get a chance.
